Lions mane has a more subtle mushroom flavor compared to other edible mushrooms with a texture not too dissimilar to crab or lobster meat.

Usually the fruiting body of Lions mane is shallow fried with a little bit of butter until golden-brown and crispy on the outside whilst juicy on the inside.

How to prepare Lions mane mushroom for cooking?

Simply slice horizontally and you are ready to cook.
